Eligibility criteria vary by grade level. Generally, we look for students who meet age requirements (e.g. 3 years for Nursery as of March 31, 5 years for Class I) and have completed the necessary previous education levels.
For Classes I To VIII: There will be no formal test or interview, however the school reserves the right to apply some screening method if the number of applicants is more than the number of seats available. For High School Classes IX To XI: Guidelines by RBSE are strictly followed.
Documents required for admission include: (1) Two Passport Size Colour Photographs, (2) Original Transfer Certificates from Previous School, (3) Attested Copy of Date of Birth Certificate, (4) Attested Photocopy of Mark Sheet of Previous Year, (5) Photocopy of Aadhar Card, (6) Residence Proof, and (7) Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) if applicable.
Yes, 25% of the total seats are reserved under RTE Act for children at entry-level i.e. in Nursery & Class I from SC/ST/OBC and economically weaker sections.
The academic session of Gyaan Jyotii Vidyapeeth is from April to March.
